I have seen kayaking a few time son TV and the sport has always looked dangerous enough to me, shooting down white water rapids with eh threat of bashing your head on a rock or flipping over and drowning.
A couple of Kayakers named Shaun Baker and Andy Selway got bored jumping off waterfalls and built themselves a jet-powered kayak. That’s right, a kayak powered by a water jet motor like a jet ski.
The direction is controlled by the paddle and the throttle is attached to the paddle too it seems. The craft has a claimed top speed of 35mph, which is really moving on the water, in a kayak. Now you can hit those rocks going really fast. Via Gearlog
