Irish company Steorn keeps the world wondering if they really have a new key technology that produces free and clean energy. Steorn calls the energy technology Orbo. Because free and clean energy sounds like science fiction the company will show the technology in public today.
Update:
Orbo demo delayed
Steorn actually planned to already show Orbo yesterday on July 4th, but delayed the exhibition at the Kinetica Museum in London to today July 5th.
The Orbo setup on display at the Kinetica Museum perpetually spins a clear polycarbonate wheel with absolutely no supply of external energy or power supply attached.
Steorn's Orbo technology is based on the interaction of magnetic fields and allows the production of clean, free and constant energy.
Apparently Steorn assigned independent scientists to evaluate the free energy technology. Results are still pending.
Engadget has posted a photo of the Orbo setup.
Today, there should also be a live video stream available showing Orbo in action at this url. Via this Steorn press-release. See also the Kinecta museum site.
Update:
The camera streams are up Orbo still does not work. The Steorn team thinks the heat of the lights interferes with the setup. Possibly they get it to work tomorrow.
