Mobile pros that give lots of presentations on the road will like the idea of the Wireless Notebook Presenter Mouse 8000. Sure, it has the really long name that Microsoft seems to like to strap their new products with, but it actually seems pretty functional. What you get is a 2.4GHz cordless Bluetooth mouse with integrated presentation controls, a media remote, battery life indicator, and a laser pointer.
The mouse uses high definition laser technology for smooth tracking and greater precision and has a digital ink function allowing you to highlight information on the screen as you present information. The resolution isn’t specifically mentioned, but its likely 800 dpi.
Four-way scrolling is included to make web surfing more enjoyable and the buttons can be customized for fast access toy our favorite applications and they five buttons can be programmed to perform different types of actions. The mouse is powered by a pair of AAA batteries and the mouse can be turned off to conserve battery life. Via Microsoft
