In the second quarter, the 787 Dreamliner for the first time became Boeing’s second-highest-volume aircraft with 30 delivered. That's twice the number as in the same period a year ago.

Even after paying bonuses to workers in South Carolina for catching up on continued unfinished work on the 787 Dreamliner, the Boeing Co. is still having problems with the work coming out of the plant.
