The announcement comes on the heels of a Kansas Supreme Court ruling last week which overturned the death sentences of Johnathan and Reginald Carr who were convicted of shooting five people, killing four of them, in Wichita in 2000. PUEBLO, Colo. (AP) — A man who killed a kitten and sent a video of the slaying to his estranged girlfriend has been sentenced to just over two years in prison. Robert Heckmann was sentenced in Pueblo on Monday to 27 months behind bars after apologizing for his actions.
