EMC Corporation (EMC) reported results for the second quarter of its 2014 fiscal year (2QFY14) today, beating revenue estimates and reporting earnings in line. The company generated $5.88 billion in revenues, a year-over-year (YoY) increase of 5%, topping analysts’ estimates of $5.83 billion on the back of strong sales of flash storage products.
