Gartner: Android and Samsung Beats iOS and Apple Again in Q3 2013

Gartner: Android Holds 82% Shares while Samsung Tops the Worldwide Smartphone Sales Again Gartner's Q3 2013 report shows that 455.6 million mobile phones were sold, out of which 55% are smartphones. Android sales account for quite a huge chunk of the world market. Android holds 81.9% shares while Samsung again becomes the leader in worldwide smartphone sales with 32.1% shares. Apple just hold 12.1% shares.
