We have been seeing photos and press renders leak with increased frequency as we inch closer to September, when Apple is widely believed to be launching the iPhone 6. Adding to that growing list is a photo and video of the rear panel leaked courtesy of MacRumors, which shows off a new dark color variant.

There have been plenty of supposed leaks surrounding the iPhone 6, but this one comes courtesy of Sonny Dickson, one of the best-known divulgers of Apple’s secrets.
It shows what Dickson claims is the iPhone 6’s sapphire screen being bent out of shape. Why? It’s to show that the new material can withstand the same kind of stress as the current-generation Corning Gorilla Glass iPhone screen.

Earlier today we got a quick look at a flexible iPhone 6 display, but a new video from YouTuber Marques Brownlee (embedded below) takes the supposed next-gen screen through a more complete durability test.
