John Cho (born June 16, 1972) is a Korean-American actor and musician, best known for his roles and as Harold Lee in the Harold & Kumar films (2004–present) and as the character who coins the term "MILF" in the American Pie films (1999–2012). He also appeared in the critically acclaimed hit films Better Luck Tomorrow and American Beauty. More recently, Cho's fame has increased with his portrayal of iconic Star Trek character Hikaru Sulu in the 2009 film Star Trek. For television, he is best known for his roles as FBI agent Demetri Noh in the Sci-Fi television drama FlashForward and Chau Presley in the sitcom Off Centre.
