Google has agreed after being pestered for so long to engage in a more careful deletion of certain names from its SERPs under Europe's new "right to be forgotten" measure. The request came from several European countries.

Finally, the grand daddy of search engines is to join the others in putting an end to smut. Google blocks child pornography sites among its search results (SERPs) and this block will go global soon. Eric Schmidt, the CEO of Google just said so in the first such statement to come from a high ranking executive of the giant conglomerate.

Google has expressed disapproval of most mugshot sites on the Internet. Especially those websites that ask for cash in return for removing the picture from their records are being looked down upon by Google.
