The Quebec provincial government is cutting back on $500 million in subsidiary bonuses and many of these tax credits are related to the province’s growing video game industry.
This is a 13.5 per cent decrease from 37.5 percent to 24 per cent
Developers located in the region like Square-Enix Montreal, Edios Montreal, Warner Bros. Montreal, Ubisoft Montreal and more importantly Ubisoft Quebec, could be drastically affected by these cuts.
