The sky Tour handset tells you things about the night sky like pointing out constellations, mythology, and facts about planets. The tour is guided and customized to your area with latitude and longitude inputs making it easy to follow the tour. The Bushnell Voyager Sky Tour 60mm telescope itself is a 700mm x 60mm refractor design and includes eyepieces of 8mm and 12.5mm providing magnifications of 56x and 88x. The telescope uses a full height tripod that is sturdy and crafted from lightweight aluminum. Setup and Use Adjusting the orientation of the Bushnell Voyager Sky Tour 60mm telescope is done with two knobs that control horizontal and vertical movement. The controls are precise allowing you to make fine adjustments with ease. The red dot finder scope is illuminated so you can see it easily at night. I did have to spend some time aligning it correctly on my test unit before it was accurate. If you have ever used a telescope that had a tubular viewfinder, the red dot it much easier to use. The telescope itself does a great job of magnifying celestial bodies. Looking at the moon allows you to see craters and details you simply can’t see with the naked eye. Depending on the time of year you can also use the Bushnell Voyager Sky Tour 60mm telescope to see planets and the International Space Station. If you are an amateur astronomer looking to get your first telescope, or if you are a parent looking for a low cost telescope that will allow you to share stargazing with your children, the Bushnell Voyager Sky Tour 60mm telescope is a great device. If you are a hardcore amateur astronomer looking to do some serious stargazing, you might want to buy a telescope with more features.
