All Reviews | More Peripheral Reviews Razer Diamondback 3G Gaming Mouse ReviewDate: 2007-10-15 Reviewed by: Shane McGlaun Manufacturer: Razer Features & Specifications Some gamers don’t like laser mice and some prefer low sensitivity with large hand movements to high sensitivity with small hand movements. For the low sensitivity big movement crowd the Razer Diamond Back 3G is perfect. The mouse is exceptionally accurate for normal computer tasks like editing photos or surfing the web. Gaming and General Use The mouse is accurate for sniping even at full sensitivity and you can lower the sensitivity as well for more precision. In the hand the Razer Diamond Back 3G feels like virtually all of the other Razer mice, which is good. The design is ambidextrous so lefties can get in on the fun as well. The feet on the Razer Diamond Back 3G are slippery Teflon that allows the mouse to glide over most mousing surfaces without creating much noise. The MSRP for the Razer Diamond Back 3G is $49.99 and it is very good for the price. Be sure that you think about how you prefer to game before you buy, you can get other mice from Razer, Logitech and other manufacturers for about the same money that have vastly different styles and provide much higher sensitivity settings if you prefer that.
