Plastic inserts on the front and back of the bag along with edge padding also add additional protection for the notebook. The Marware Sportfolio for 13-inch MacBook also has a pair of padded carry handles and a shoulder strap. Sportfolio in Use You should be aware that when you put things like a mouse in the outer or inner pockets the bag gets bulky fast. Really, the Marware Sportfolio for 13-inch MacBook seems more suited to a day on the road where all you need is your notebook. The bag can be carried as a folio with the bottom and half of both sides of the bag covered in a grippy rubberized neoprene that offers fantastic grip. The bag itself is very well built with zippers that stand up well to overstuffing and lots of normal wear and tear. The shoulder strap is made from a strong seat belt-like material and has a well-padded neoprene cushion covered with the grippy rubberized neoprene on the back. The shoulder strap is removable and the Marware Sportfolio for 13-inch MacBook fits snuggly enough without the strap to be used as a notebook sleeve inside a larger backpack or suitcase.
