Supported file formats include JPEG, MPEG, AVI, MP3, BMP, and WMA. A high speed USB port is also built-in. A wireless remote control is included to allow control of the images and video on the frame. In Use The frame of the Aluratek 11-inch Digital Photo Frame is made from real wood. The color is a sort of natural looking oak or cherry. It’s nice to see a real wood frame on the Aluratek 11-inch Digital Photo Frame, but the color might not match all room decors. The Aluratek 11-inch Digital Photo Frame is designed to hand on the wall and it comes with a table stand as well. One interesting feature of the frame is a built-in calendar and you can also program the frame to turn itself off and on. This is very nice if you want to use the frame in a bedroom and the bright display bothers you while trying to sleep. Video plays well on the Aluratek 11-inch Digital Photo Frame. The speaker provides decent sound, but it won’t impress audiophiles. It is average when compared to the sound from other frames I have tested. The remote is easy to use to control the images on screen and you can rotate images for the correct orientation from the remote as well. One of the nicest features of the Aluratek 11-inch Digital Photo Frame is the 1GB SD card that is included. This allows you to move images and video from your computer to the frame without having to purchase an additional memory card or move the memory card from your camera to the frame when you want to view images or shoot pictures.
