Features & Specifications Supported security specifications include Wi-Fi protected setup, WPA, WPA2-Personal, 64-bit/128-bit encryption and multiple SSID’s. VPN pass-through is supported as well as PPTP. The maximum data speed provided by the Belkin N1 Vision wireless router is up to 300 Mbps in 20/40MHz channel mode. Setup & Use Advanced users can skip straight to manual setup if they desire and the features and settings offered are robust. Everything you could want to set is available in the router from different encryption protocols to port forwarding and more. The coolest feature of the Belkin N1 Vision wireless router is the built-in LCD display that shows information about the router at a glance. The screens show date and time, download speed, connected devices, traffic from connected devices in the past 24 hours, upload and download speeds, and a pictorial representation of your network that makes it easy to tell where problems with your connection are happening. Once the router was set up I connected my multiple wireless devices to the router. I was able to connect two laptops, a desktop, my iPhone, Wii and PS3 to the router at the same time without any issues or problems. When coupled with devices using 802.11n enabled LAN adapters you can get 300 Mbps speeds. The wireless range on the Belkin N1 Vision wireless router was very impressive. One of my notebooks and my game consoles are in the back of my house. With my previous 802.11n router from Belkin the connection in the back of my home was not stable. I could connect my PS3 for example but the connection with the old router would drop at random intervals as the signal from the router was lost. I was able to connect the PS3 to the Belkin N1 Vision wireless router and at the time of this writing I have not experienced one drop of the connection after several weeks of use with the N1 Vision router. These drops happened several times a day before. The only bad thing you can say about the Belkin N1 Vision wireless router is that it is expensive.
