Features & Specifications The Mountainsmith Correspondent also features a boarding pass sleeve and a rapid-access tripod mount. Inside the bag is a pair of zippered organizers that are designed to organize your camera and video equipment. The back of the top flap also has an organizer. Construction for the Mountainsmith Correspondent is 430d ballistic nylon reinforcements and 420d Velocity nylon body fabric with hypalon reinforcements and YKK zippers. The Mountainsmith Correspondent holds an impressive array of gear considering how thin its profile is. Within each of the twin zippered organizers are panels that can separate your cameras and lenses to keep them safe and well padded. If you only need one of the organizers either or both can be removed from the bag and the bag can be used as a normal carry-on for clothing. In Use One of the worst parts of many rolling bags for me is the handle. Often the handle flexes and makes the bag wobbly if you are trying to move fast to catch a flight. The handle on the Mountainsmith Correspondent is very ridged and works well. The only spot I wished for improvement on with the Mountainsmith Correspondent is the handle length. I felt that the handle should be longer when taking large steps I kept hitting the bag with my feet when walking. A few more inches in handle length would have prevented this problem altogether.
