Features & Specifications
The Atomic Bass earphones have a 10mm dynamic driver with a neodymium magnet. It uses a standard 3.5mm, gold plated stereo mini plug that fits the iPhone like a glove. The mini extension is 43-inches long and the Atomic Bass earphones have a frequency response of 20Hz to 20kHz.

In Use
The Atomic Bass earphones ship with three different sizes of soft silicone ear tips. The different tips allow for a customized fit to keep the Atomic Bass earphone sin place and improve the sound quality. The earphones are available in several colors; my review set was silver and white and matched my iPhone colors like the Atomic Bass earphones came packed with the iPhone.

As you might surmise from the product name, the Atomic Bass earphones aim to put the bass back into your music. Bass is often the biggest lacking point in portable music. To get the improved bass Radius uses a longer sound chamber to let the bass waves develop. Whatever the tech is the Atomic Bass headphones live up to the name.

The amount of bass delivered by the little earphones is very impressive. Bass is nice and deep, but doesn’t overwhelm the mid and high range sounds in your music. Vocals are still clear and highs are sharp. You can actually feel the bass produced by the Atomic Bass earphones. Not in the chest like big speakers, but as a rumble in the ears it’s a nice sensation.

The rounded portion below the 3.5mm stereo jack is the perfect diameter for the opening around the iPhone headphone jack which helps to keep lint out of the connector, a problem if you carry the iPhone in your pocket.

The long cables give you enough room to move around without getting bound up and the rubber connector where the single cable splits into the U shape cable for the earphones themselves gives a bit when the earphones are tugged for comfort and security.

Final Thoughts
The Atomic Bass are certainly one of the best sounding sets of earphones that I have tried and give my iPhone music some serious bass, which I like. I would like to see a set of these with a mic built-in for use with the iPhone for making and receiving calls.
