Features & Specifications
The iMetal iP-HS2 Isolation Headset for iPhone has 9mm neodymium drivers with a frequency response of 18Hz to 22 KHz. Maximum sound output is >100dB and the microphone sensitivity is 44dB with a frequency response of 20Hz to 16Khz.

The headset has an attached cable 4-feet long and includes an extension cable 2-feet long. The body of the headset is made from aluminum alloy and three different sizes of eartips are included. A soft button allows the answer and end of calls and provides music control. A carry pouch is included.

In Use
The iMetal iP-HS2 Isolation Headset for iPhone are well made and look very nice. The ear tips are all made form a soft black material that is comfortable for extended wear and available in three sizes. The plug of the iMetal iP-HS2 Isolation Headset for iPhone is designed specifically for the iPhone and it fits perfectly. For most users the 4-foot cord is plenty long, but an additional 2-foot extension cable is offered as well.

The little silver carry pouch isn’t up to the quality of the headphones, but most users won’t be bothered by this since most simply won’t use it. The eartips are soft and wear well for long periods of time. The iMetal iP-HS2 Isolation Headset for iPhone doesn’t get uncomfortable or hot. The soft tips seal well in the ear and help greatly to block out other sounds in the room while on phone calls or listening to music.

The tighter seal in the ear canal gives the iMetal iP-HS2 Isolation Headset for iPhone more bass than the iMetal Stereo Headset we checked out yesterday. The levels of bass are very impressive plus mid and high range sounds are great as well.

The mic falls at the level of the mouth and works well, though like the other set of headphone the mic does pick up some room sounds when in use. The soft button works well and is placed within easy reach of the user when driving or standing.

I found that the ear tips are rather small in their sizes; I typically use medium ear tips on most isolation style headsets. On the iMetal iP-HS2 Isolation Headset for iPhone, I had to move up to the large to get the same seal and fit I normally see with medium tips. If you have large ears, this could be an issue for you. However, if you find most ear tips too large for your ears, the iMetal iP-HS2 Isolation Headset for iPhone may be perfect for you.
