Features & Specifications
The Duracell Daylite LED Flashlight comes in three models powered by different battery types. The model we are looking at is powered by three AAA batteries. Models are also available that are powered by a pair of AA batteries and CR123 batteries.

The AA and AAA version have 3W of power and both produce 80 lumens or light. The version powered by the CR123 battery has 4W and produces 160 lumens. The Duracell Daylite LED Flashlight uses Duracell's Daylite technology to deliver virtually all of the light for a brighter, whiter beam that eliminates dark spots.

In Use
The Duracell Daylite LED Flashlight is small at slightly over 5-inches long and the body is slightly more than the diameter of a quarter. The lens assembly rotates on the flashlight to adjust the beam form tight focused to a larger and more diffuse beam.

When compared to a normal flashlight ran by a pair of D cell batteries, the Duracell Daylite LED Flashlight is much, much brighter. The beam on most flashlights has yellowish light that has significant dark spots away from the center of the beam.

The Duracell Daylite LED Flashlight has a very white beam and significantly reduced dark spots. The beam can be adjusted with more of a pinpoint beam or widened to cover more space. The Duracell Daylite LED Flashlight had a brighter and whiter beam than a large three D-cell Mag-lite I had around for comparison using the naked eye. The only bad thing I can really say about the Duracell Daylite LED Flashlight is that the on/off button on the base of the light could be hard to press with the thumb of the hand wrapped around the flashlight body.
