Features & Specifications Each of the light blades is made from a plastic tube and inside the tube are 17 LED lights that glow red in one and blue in the other. The LEDs are bright enough that you can see the light in a brightly lit room. The Glow Saber Duo Pack NW sabers are powered by three AA batteries each and have an on/off switch. In Use The blades glow brightly and are bright enough to see clearly in brightly lit rooms. When used in a dark room, the glowing effect is much more impressive. The plastic blades are about 17-inches long and the hilt that holds the Wiimote is 11-inches long. All of the buttons and ports including the trigger on the bottom are easily accessible and work as well in the saber as it does outside the saber. For times when you want something beefier in your hands for playing, but don’t want the blades and the extra bulk they add, the blades are removable. Thrustmaster says that the batteries are good for 40 hours of use before they go dead. The only bad part about the Glow Saber Duo Pack NW is that you may feel like that kid that showed up online waving the broomstick around like Darth Geek.
