Features & Specifications
One of the best features of the Logitech Z Cinema Advanced Surround Sound System is that the system needs only a single USB connection to your computer to operate. The speakers plug into the AC outlet in your home for power and will function on Windows XP MCE, Vista Home Premium, or Vista Ultimate editions. The speakers have 180 watts of total power, 110 watts on the subwoofer, and measure 250.4 mm x 115mm x 112.4mm for the satellites and 292.4 mm x 290.6 mm x 413.9 mm for the sub.

The Logitech Z Cinema Advanced Surround Sound System provides a surround should listening experience without the need for rear speakers. SRS TruSurround HD technology makes for a broader sweet spot for the sound. A tri-amp design and a digital crossover EQ help provide clear audio and the sub is an 8-inch long-throw unit.

The satellite speaker includes input and output options allowing the direct connection of headphones and MP3 player for external music input. The system also includes a media center remote control that allows you to control Windows Media Center and manage digital media on the computer.

Installation & Use
The Logitech Z Cinema Advanced Surround Sound System is dead simple to install. All you need to do is plug the subwoofer into the AC outlet in your home, plug in the USB port, connect the satellite speakers, and install the software.

Sound quality from the system is very impressive. The subwoofer takes up quite a bit of space thanks to its large enclosure, but the bass delivered by the system is impressive. Lows are deep and the bass is the sort you can feel in your chest.

The satellites provide crisp audio from music and clear speech from movies that isn’t overpowered by the bass. The simulated surround sound experience is quite good, but will never be mistaken for a real surround sound system by the user.

The included remote control is fantastic. It is designed to be free standing and offers all of the controls you need for a MCE computer with enough wireless range to do so from across the room. It's great that Logitech includes a full MCE remote with the Logitech Z Cinema Advanced Surround Sound System, it is something most MCE owners will need, and the integration with the speakers means you don’t lose another USB port on the computer.
