Features & Specifications In Use The stand is very sturdy, feels well built, and is easy to adjust. The device also allows air to reach the top and bottom of your notebook to keep it running cooler. If you use a high-power gaming notebook that can make a big difference in how well your machine performs. The two most important pieces of the Logitech Notebook Kit MK605 are the mouse and keyboard. A good notebook mouse is one of the most commonly added accessories for many notebook users since most of us loathe the track pad. The Wireless Mouse M505 is the mouse used in the Logitech Notebook Kit MK605. The mouse is smaller and sized for portability and has an ambidextrous design. Logitech doesn't specify what the sensitivity setting of the mouse is, but it seems to be about 800 dpi with average sensitivity. The mouse is accurate and comfortable for long working sessions. You can’t really play hard-core 3D games with the mouse, but the occasional round of Zuma works just fine. Power for the M505 comes from a pair of AA batteries. If your notebook is a small ultraportable, when you are at your desk you probably have often longed for a larger keyboard. The Logitech Notebook Kit MK605 uses the wireless K340 keyboard. The keyboard is smaller than your average full-size desktop keyboard for better portability yet still offers a full number pad. That number pad is a big deal if you work with lots of spreadsheets and numbers. Despite the smaller than full-size stature of the keyboard it offers good typing feel and the keys are well spaced. The keyboard isn’t as clicky as some of the keyboards from Logitech, but touch typists should be able to get by with the K340 without any uses. The number pad spacing is different thanks to the small size of the keyboard. There is no gap between the number pad and the normal keys and the overall layout is more like that of a notebook rather than your typical desktop keyboard. Still, the keyboard is better than what you find on most notebooks. p>My biggest issue with the Logitech Notebook Kit MK605 isn't one of performance, the kit is just bulky. If you are trying to travel light, you probably won’t want to take the Logitech Notebook Kit MK605 with you. Where I see this kit being more appropriate is for users who want to work more comfortable from the office or hotel rather than the mobile on the go user looking for a solution for more productivity while on the road out of the office.
