The Rocketfish Wireless Bluetooth Mouse and Keyboard is powered by four AA batteries and has a nano Bluetooth adapter. The wireless range is 33 feet, the keyboard 104 keys, and 18 multimedia keys. The mouse has 1200 dpi sensitivity and the dongle can act as a Bluetooth hub. The keyboard measures 1.1" T x 8.3" W x 19.8" D. The Rocketfish Wireless Bluetooth Mouse and Keyboard works with Windows 7, vista, or XP computers.

In Use
The Rocketfish Wireless Bluetooth Mouse and Keyboard is a nice little wireless desktop. The keyboard has good typing feel, but isn’t of the same quality as the typing feel on my Logitech Illuminated keyboard that I use each day. That isn’t to say the typing feel is bad on the Rocketfish Wireless Bluetooth Mouse and Keyboard, just not up to the standards of high-end Logitech products.

The keyboard also has a full complement of multimedia keys for controlling your media and it has an assortment of shortcut keys for your home page and other sites or applications that you can program with the included software. Best Buy used a very cool nano sized Bluetooth receiver that is as small as the receiver Logitech uses on many of its wireless products. The tiny wireless receiver is small enough that you can plug it into your notebooks USB port and leave it.

Power for both the mouse and keyboard comes from a pair of AA batteries for each device. The wireless range for both devices is 33 feet so you can use them from across the room with your HTPC if you want. The mouse is a full size unit that is a right hand only design with a four-way tilt wheel. The mouse feels good in the hand and has plenty of sensitivity for your average user at 1200 dpi. If you like high-sensitivity mice or use a large LCD in the 24 to 30-inch range, you may wish for more sensitivity though.

The thumb rest of the mouse has a ribbed rubber design for good grip and it has a pair of side buttons that allow you to move forward and backward when surfing the web. The nano receiver also acts as a Bluetooth hub and can allow other Bluetooth devices to connect to your PC. The only downside is that the keyboard is physically large making for a tight fit in some smaller keyboard trays.
