MSI U123 Netbook compared with Asus Eee PC 1000HE

Yesterday we let the new Samsung N110 Netbook go against the topselling Asus Eee PC 1000HE. Today it is the turn of the last month introduced MSI Wind U123 netbook. As the MSI U123 is a 10.1 inch netbook running on the Intel Atom N280 we compare it also to the Asus Eee PC 1000HE.

New Samsung N110 Netbook compared with Asus Eee 1000HE

We already looked at the new Samsung N120 Netbook and how it compares to the current bestselling netbook on Amazon, the Asus Eee PC 1000HE a couple days ago. Today we take a look at the Samsung N110, which Samsung also announced in April.

New Asus Eee 1008HA Netbook compared with Eee 1000HE

Asus pulled up the curtain on its sleek looking new Netbook, Asus Eee PC 1008HA in March 2009. Asus terms Eee PC 1008HA as the most stylish and elegant looking of all the netbooks it has ever launched in the Eee PC series so far. Is the 1008HA "Seashell" better than other Eee PCs introduced until now? Is it worth the wait or can you just get the currently #1 selling netbook on Amazon: Asus Eee 1000HE.

The Asus Eee 1008HA is available for pre-order in the UK, but the shipping date given on Amazon UK (Price: £379.50 ~$570) is vague 1-2 month. Japanese notebook exporter Dynamism (Price: $449.99) lists the 1008HA with a shipping date of May 25th. I assume that the new Asus 1008HA will be shipping in the US still this month. Read on to see if the 1008HA is worth holding off your netbook purchase for a couple weeks. Read more

Asus Eee 1000HE Review

Our review partner Digital Trends published a review of the Asus Eee 1000HE. Are you still able to keep track of all the different Asus Eee netbooks? Me neither. The Asus Eee 1000HE is though the bestselling netbook on Amazon.com right now.

Asus hit the current Netbook sweet spot with the new Asus Eee PC 1000HE the company introduced at the beginning of February.
The black Eee PC 1000HE is the top selling netbook on Amazon.com followed by its blue brother.
The Asus Eee PC 1000HE is selling for $374 and features besides the Intel N280 Atom CPU, 802.11b/g/n WiFi, 160GB HDD, 10GB of encrypted online storage space, Bluetooth, 9.5 hour Battery life, and 10 inch screen. Read more

Asus Eee 1000HE Review

I mentioned that Asus had unveiled its latest Eee netbook called the 1000HE earlier this week. Laptop Magazine already has its hands on the 1000HE and is offering up some early insights into the product. The early determination is that the 1000HE is one of the best netbooks ever from Asus.

The machine has the same exact chassis that the 1000H uses and features the same lid and port placement. The major difference is the keyboard, which Laptop says feels sturdier and has a better key placement. Read more

ASUS Unveils Upgraded Eee 1000HE

Asus has announced a newly updated Eee netbook called the Eee 1000HE that is available for pre-order right now. The netbook claims to be the first machine on the market to use the new Intel N280 Atom CPU. The machine also uses the Super Hybrid Engine to boost CPU speed and get extended battery life from the machine.

Features include 802.11b/g/n network connectivity and Bluetooth. Internal storage is to a 160GB HDD and Asus offers 10GB of encrypted online storage space. Battery life is reported to be 9.5 hours from Asus. Read more
