New iPod touch 32GB Only Outsold By Kindle On Amazon
Apple unveiled the new faster and cheaper iPod touch 3G about two weeks ago. Amazon is selling the iPod touch 32GB for $20 less and than the Apple store and ships it for free of course.
This sales price helped catapult the new iPod touch 32GB to the #2 spot on the Bestsellers in Electronics list.
Only the new 6-inch Kindle sells better. The Kindle owns this spot, but Amazon also does everything to promote it. The Amazon homepage has had a huge placement for the Kindle for the longest time.

Zune HD 32GB Review
The new Microsoft Zune HD started to ship yesterday. Our review partner Digital Trends tested the new Zune HD 32GB and published this review.
Quote from the review: "Almost two years to the day after Apple reimagined the personal media player as a mobile computer with the iPod Touch, Microsoft has outed its own take on the pocket entertainment machine: the Zune HD. But since "like Apple" has never been enough to outsell the Cupertino thinktank that always seems to be one step ahead, Microsoft's Redmond engineers have also gone the extra mile with a retina-scorching OLED display, lighter design, and 720p HD video output, to name a few features that best Apple's Touch.

IBM Thinkpad X40 upgraded with KingSpec 32GB SSD beats today's Netbooks
There are only a few notebooks that age well. The IBM Thinkpad X40 would definitely be one of them if it weren't for the very slow and noisy (clack, clack, clack) 1.8 inch 20GB HDD. Since SSD became affordable I was looking into finding a SSD that would work in my 5 year old Thinkpad X40.
There have been solutions for a while that required you to do some soldering or buy a PATA adapter that works in conjunction with ZIF type 1.8 inch SSD. I am just not into soldering at all. Now a Chinese company called KingSpec is offering drop-in replacement SSD for the IBM Thinkpad X40, X41, and X41T.
