Splitfish motionFX Adapter for Sony PS2 Video Review
Today I spent some time playing with the SplitFish motionFX Adapter for PS2 and shot some video of the SplitFish motionFX in use. With the motionFX on your PS2 you can get over your Sony PS3 SIXAXIS or Wii envy, at least if your envy encompasses the motion sensing capabilities of the new generation of consoles.
Connect the motionFX to your standard PS2 controller and you can turn it into a motion-sensing device that is ideal for driving games, but can be used for any game you desire. There is a bit of a learning curve with the SplitFish motionFX adapter when it comes to sensitivity and control, though the sensitivity is adjustable.

Did you hear? MacWorld 2007 started today. It looks like attending companies holding back on press-releases today to avoid the CES 2007 Monday rush.
The MacWorld 2007 releases I saw so far are boring. This new Belkin Bluetooth Dock adapter is the most interesting so far.

Datel Wii LAN Adapter
Game accessory company Datel wants some of the action of selling LAN adapters for the Nintendo Wii.
Nintendo offers their own LAN adapter, which is still a hard find and only available in Japan. Play-Asia is sold out right now. Why Nintendo was not able to squeeze in a little Ethernet port is a bit disappointing, especially because it cost you about $30-40 to get a Ethernet port on your Wii. Built-in Wi-fi is nice if it works, but Wi-fi tends to suck quite often. A cable is still the most reliable solution.
The Datel Wii LAN adapter is supposed to be available this month and sells for $10 less than the Nintendo LAN adapter. The price is $29.90 on Play-Asia.

PlayStation 3 Will Load PSX and PS2 Save Data, Via an Adapter
It's an issue we've been wondering about for a while. From all the up-close experience we've had with the PlayStation 3, we'd never seen a place where you could plug in a PlayStation or PlayStation 2 memory card, leading us to wonder exactly how you'd get to your data for older PlayStation games.
That question has now been answered, and the source is none other than the official PS3 website. It seems you will be able to just dump your PS2 save data on to the PS3, via a "virtual memory card" built into the system. Of course, this will require a special piece of hardware.
