iPhone HD Ads Leak Out?

Stop. Before you read this article, go grab your salt shaker. You're going to need it for this one. TechRadar.com reports that what could be a leaked Apple commercial has surfaced on the Internet. This commercial for the so-called iPhone HD shows off a very different device from the current iPhone.

Supposedly, this phone will have a high-powered camera and a front-facing camera. The screen is described as 'high-res' as well. The commercial is definitely of very high quality, but right now I'm still leaning very solidly on 'fake'. As neat as the iPhone HD's design is, I can't actually imagine it as a real Apple product.

152,000 iPads Sold First Weekend?

The iPad sales estimates continue to roll on in. We'd been told 120,000 sold on the first day alone, but that number may not be entirely accurate. Now Analyst Daniel Tello has crunched the numbers and come up with a new figure for the pad's total first weekend sales. (via SlashGear)

He says that sales started out at 25,000 per hour, but tapered off to a mere 1,000 per hour across most of Saturday and Sunday. By the end of Sunday night, he estimates the iPad's total sales to be around 152,000. Over the next three weeks of pre-ordering, he expects around a half million reservations to be made.

120,000 iPads Sold On Friday

This Friday heralded the start of iPad pre-ordering. While we still don't have any word from Apple on their total first weekend sales, we do have a number for the new tablet's Friday sales. SlashGear reports that the iPad sold somewhere in the neighbourhood of 120,000 units on that first day. The WiFi-only, 16GB pad was the biggest seller.
