Sony alpha DSLR-A850 Review
Sony unveiled the Sony alpha DSLR-A850 Full-Frame SLR Camera last month. Our review partner Digital Trends already got their hands on one and published a review. The Sony alpha A850 scored an Editors' Choice Award, read this review to find out why.
Quote from the review: "Even in this era of rapidly plunging HDTV, Blu-ray disc player and game console prices, some devices remain very expensive. Case in point: full-frame DSLRs. These cameras use sensors that are the same size as a frame of 35mm film, so photo quality is outstanding, but you’ll pay for this performance.

Belco Alpha 400 MIPS 7'' Linux Netbook Review
Testfreaks published a review of the Alpha 400 MIPS 400MHz 128MB 1GB 7" Linux Ultralite Notebook.
Quote from the review: ""Our friends at Geeks.com have sent us one of their laptop computers for review, though this one might be considered ultralite or even a netbook and by now I'm sure you've heard a bit about it. It's called the Alpha 400 MIPS 400MHz 128MB 1GB 7" Linux Ultralite Notebook and as you can see by the 400Mhz in the name, it's not very powerful, so don't expect to be gaming on it, but I've spent three weeks with it now and it's really not that bad, especially if you consider the price. Sony alpha DSLR-A900 Review
Our review partner Digital Trends published a review of the Sony alpha DSLR-A900 camera.
Quote from the review: "D-SLRs are definitely where the action is in digital photography. Sales of compact point-and-shoots may have hit a wall in this recession, but digital single-lens reflex cameras continue to do well as prices have come down and quality has gone up. The new full-frame Sony alpha DSLR-A900 is a great, albeit relatively expensive example when compared to the typical D-SLR with smaller APS-C sized sensors. This beefy camera has a 24.6-megapixel full-frame imaging device, and sells for "only" $2,999. The new Nikon D3X also has a similarly-sized sensor (made by Sony) and it costs a cool $7,999! Yeow! The D3X is an incredibly featured camera, obviously designed for pros whereas the A900 is for well-heeled enthusiasts-but not investors in Bernie Madoff's funds. The closest current camera in terms of price and resolution is the Canon EOS 5D Mark II, a 21.1MP full-frame edition for $2,699, a model we'll be reviewing in the weeks ahead.

In Win Alpha360 Mini-Tower Case Review
TheTechLounge published a review of the In Win Alpha360 Mini-Tower Case.
Quote from the review: "In Win is a king of case manufacturers. Their purview extends across the entire realm of beige, from the calm sea of beige to the shallow cliffs of beige, with the inoffensive beige plains between. I speak in jest. I have a soft spot in my heart for the oft-marginalized company, mainly because they made the first case I ever bought. It was, you know, off-white, a mini-tower affair that came with an adequate PSU.

Alphacool LC-Display Review
BurnOutPC has just posted their review of the Alphacool LC-Display with 240x128px resolution.
Quote from the review: "Alphacool has a very nice product with their LCD Display. Like I said, it has been around for a while but even today it's still very functional and modern. It's cheaper than an external color display to use with Windows Vista for it's sideshow feature and it's better function and performance wise than the Pertelian V5.

Sony Alpha DSLR-A350 Review
The test lab at our review partner Digital Trends tested the Sony A350 SLR camera. They gave the Sony Alpha DSLR-A350 an Editor's Choice Award, calling it a terrific camera for the price.
Quote from the review: "I feel Live View as implemented by other makers (Canon, Nikon, Olympus et al) is a joke. To work properly, the camera has to be held steady by a tripod and the subject must remain still. How many people shoot like this in 2008—beyond eBay Power Sellers? Six, 16, 60? Sony felt the same way and decided to create a Live View for the rest of the world.

Quote from the review: "As is the case with XFX’s other XXX Alpha Dog Edition cards, their 256MB GeForce 8800 GT offering ships from the factory with a significantly overclocked GPU and memory. XFX has a solid offering with its 8800 GT 256MB XXX Alpha Dog Edition. Sony Alpha DSLR-A700 Review
Our review partner Digital Trends published a review of the Sony SLR camera Alpha A700. Sony introduced the DSLR-A700 in September. The Sony Alpha A700 sells for $1,399.99 on Amazon.com.
Quote from the review: "It must be hard for Sony being number 3 or 4 when it comes to cameras, especially when it dominates just about every other category it enters—other than that little iPod thing the company wishes would go away. HDTVs? Sony is number one. Home audio? Camcorders? You guessed it. The list goes on but you get the idea. Sony wants to be a leader in whatever field it enters.
