The Apple Netbook Steve is working on is made by Foxconn
Last week we reported about a WSJ story that claimed that Steve Jobs is working on an Apple Netbook aka MacBook mini during his medical leave. Today Digitimes reports that the Chinese language newspaper Commercial Times says that Foxconn is in the running to land orders for a netbook from Apple.

MacBook Mini Photos appear, Apple Netbook Rumors run wild
The Apple netbook rumor got some new fuel with some photos that are supposed to show the MacBook Mini according to a Russian magazine.
The MacBook Mini has been rumored for years. Even before the netbook craze. As old as the tablet MacBook rumor.
The well photoshopped photos of what is supposed to be the MacBook Mini even come along with specifications.
The MacBook Mini is supposed to feature a 10.4 inch WXGA display, Intel Atom CPU, NVIDIA GPU, 64GB SSD, 2GB RAM, and Wi-Fi.

Could Rumored Large Format iPod Touch be the Apple Netbook?
TechCrunch has an Apple rumor that it feels is pretty well substantiated. According to the blog, it has confirmation from three independent sources that Apple may be launching a large format iPod Touch in the fall of 2009. How large a format you ask? The rumor says the beastie will have a 7 or 9-inch screen.
That is a serious iPod touch and according to one of the sources cited by TechCrunch, it has held the device. An Apple tablet device has been rumored for years and with the massive success of the App store, this may be a real product for Apple. Read more

Apple Netbook/Tablet May be Based on ARM Cortex Architecture
Amid the economic turmoil and computer industry downturn, Apple is able to grow market share while others are losing profits. The netbook is one of the best sellers in the computer industry right now and many have been looking to Apple to offer a netbook computer.
Computerworld believes that the inevitable Apple netbook/tablet computer will run on the Arm Cortex architecture. There are several reasons that Comptuerworld believes Apple will go ARM for its tablet including the fact that Apple has a PA Semi team working on ARM chips for future iPhones. Read more
