Asus shipped 700,000 Asus Eee Netbooks last Month
Despite the huge competition of new netbooks Asus is has shipped 700,000 Eee netbooks in September according to the Commerical Times newspaper.
The Chinese newspaper continues saying that Asus has shipped 1.7m Eee netbooks in the 3rd quarter and that level is expected to be met in the strong Holiday Sales Quarter.

Asus Eee Stick gets official
Asus showed the Nintendo Wii like motion controllers at the Computex 2008, but released now an official press-release for the Eee Sticks.
The Asus Eee Stick is a plug and play wireless controller for the PC platform that translates your physical hand motions into corresponding movements onscreen.
The Eee Stick consists of an Activation stick, a Navigation stick and a 2.4GHz RF dongle. Both sticks detect 8-way 3D motions.
Even though vibration-capable, both ergonomic sticks consume very little power, providing up to a lengthy three days (72 hours) of continuous play on two AA batteries per stick.

Hothardware got their hands on the new Asus Eee PC Box B202, the company announced officially in June. The 1l in volume Intel Atom based Eee Box can mount VESA LCD displays for the ultimate space-saving solution.

Ultimate Asus Eee PC and Pro Fashion Asus Eee PC Netbooks confirmed
Yesterday we reported about a leaked Asus Eee PC Roadmap that contained tons of new Asus Eee PC models split in three categories Smart Casual, Pro Fashion, and Ultimate. The currently available Asus Eee PC netbooks are in the Smart Casual Category.
Digitimes has now received word directly from Asus President Jerry Shen that Asus is going higher end with the Asus Eee PC with new Eee PCs in the Pro Fashion and Ultimate category.

Over the weekend we reported that the various Asus Eee PCs were taking over the top 10 list of the bestselling notebooks on Amazon.com. Apparently Asus plans many more Asus Eee PC versions to swamp the market.

Asus Eee Box ExpressGate tested
Asus made the Eee Box tiny PC official at the end of June. Asus promises with Express Gate technology to be in 7s in the Internet from boot up in Microsoft Windows XP Home. LaptopMag had a chance to play with the Eee Box and put Express Gate to the test.
Quote: "When you first press the power button on the Eee PC it takes 11 seconds (4 more seconds than the Voodoo Envy) to launch the main page ExpressGate Splashtop page. This start page has four buttons across the page, including browser, photo viewer, Pidgin chat and Skype shortcuts. You have to click on one of those buttons to enter the real ExpressGate environment.

Asus Eee Box B202 goes on Sale in Hong Kong
Asus announced the Asus Eee Box desktop PC on June 21st. The Atom based Mini Desktop is supposedly going on sale today in Hong Kong according to Digitimes.
The Asus Eee Box B202 is the first available model and would sell for HK$2,500 (~$320).

Belkin Announces Gear for the ASUS Eee
Belkin is busy today with new product announcements. The latest of its new products are some things just for the popular and tiny ASUS Eee netbook. The new stuff includes a corded mouse with a retractable cord that is available now for $14.99.
Belkin also has a wireless travel mouse that has three programmable buttons and can be turned on and off. It retails for $19.99 and only works with Windows or Mac OS so if your Eee is Linux you are probably out of luck. A line of cases for the Eee and other small netbooks was announced as well. Read more

Asus in the UK published a table that compares the main features of the currently and soon to be available Asus Eee PC netbooks. Asus created quite some confusion with new Asus Eee announcements and rumors that this table is actually pretty soothing.
The current Asus line-up according to this table consists of six major models: Eee PC 2G Surf, Eee PC 4G, Eee PC 900, Eee PC 904, Eee PC 901 and Eee PC 10000.

Asus Eee PC 900 now on Sale with $100 Rebate
As reported earlier the new Intel Atom based Asus Eee PC 901 is on sale in the United States. The Asus Eee 901 sells for $599.99. In order to still be able to make the Asus Eee PC 900 attractive, Asus is offering an $100 rebate bringing the price down to $449.99.
The Asus Eee PC 900 features 8.9 inch Display, 900 MHz Intel Mobile CPU, 1 GB RAM, and camera.
The Linux version has a 20GB SSD and the Windows XP model has a 12GB SSD storage.

Asus Eee PC 904 will have right low Netbook Pricing again
End of June photos and first information leaked about new . Not all of them might actually materialize but the Eee PC 904 got more real in the last days.
We already reported about the Eee 904 HD, but it looks like there will be just one Asus Eee 904 with less than exciting specifications but low price.
