According to Digitimes they're about to unveil a new 17.3" 3D notebook in the first quarter of 2010. This notebook will pack a Core i7 CPU, an Nvidia GeForce GTM 160M GPU, 4 GB of memory, and two 320 GB hard drives. They're also working on a 15.6" 3D notebook, which should launch mid-November and pack the same hardware as the 17.3" model.

Asustek Mum on Sony PS3 Console Shipments

Asustek Mum on Sony PS3 Console Shipments Technology News, Electronics Buy Guide and Gadget Review Taiwan based manufacturer is said to start delivering Sony PS3 consoles to Sony this month.

Asustek is supposed to manufacture 4 million PS3 consoles for Sony.
The story has its origin in a Chinese newspaper called Commercial Times. Asustek issued a statement not to comment on this deal.

Anyway, it is about time to for Sony to get final production units, if they do not want to end up blowing their global launch like Microsoft did last year with the Xbox 360. Read more

ASUSTeK's WL-HDD hard-drive enclosure can hold a 2.5-inch hard drive and supports UDMA/100. More importantly, it can be accessed wirelessly by the integrated dual-mode 802.11b/g interface, which offers a maximum bandwidth of 54Mbps. Computer Weekly reports that the enclosure has two 10/100 Ethernet ports, but we only see one on the picture from ASUSTeK?
