Holiday Gift Idea: The Beatles USB Discography
Alright, so the remastered Beatles discography still isn't available on iTunes. Honestly, at this point it looks like that might never happen. Thankfully, EMI and Apple Corps have found a way to bring us digital copies of everyone's favorite British foursome. Sure, $280 for an Apple-shaped USB stick filled FLAC and MP3 versions of all the remastered CDs seems a bit pricey but, as Gizmodo notes that's only $60 more than you pay for the new CD set.
For you audiophiles out there, the FLAC quality is listed as 44.1Khz 24 bit, and the MP3s are 320 Kbps. Now, the bad news. 'Only' 30,000 of these special edition sets are being made. They go on sale November 8th, but you can pre-order now at TheBeatles.com.

The Beatles RockBand Review
The Beatles: Rockband has been shipping since last week. Tweaktown already rocked the new Rockband version and published this review.
Quote from the review: "Ever since Activision had its acrimonious split with Harmonix, RockBand and Guitar Hero games have gone head to head almost yearly to win the gamers dollar. To say that Europe has been treated poorly with RockBand is to say the least. In fact in this crazy situation, The Beatles specific game is being released before the actual second game (at least in Asia Pacific regions). However with that said, EA have certainly chosen the right game to release in the region with The Beatles RockBand not only turning out to be the best RockBand game yet, but possibly the best rhythm game around, and not just because it has the Fab Four.

The Beatles inspire Official music Game
Apple Corps Ltd., MTV and Harmonix have announced an exclusive agreement to bring the music of legendary band The Beatles to a video game. Apple Corp. isn’t Apple Computer just for the record; it’s the company that handles the Beatles affairs.
There is very little information on what the game will actually be like, in fact no information on the actual game is offered. We can assume from MTV and Harmonix's involvement that we are looking at the start of a Rock Band style game based on Beatles music. If that happens we could be looking at one of the first music games to get our parents involved. I'm a little frightened to think of my mom belting out Hey Jude. Read more
