Arnold Schwarzenegger only Highlight at CeBIT 2009?
The CeBIT 2009 opens on March 3rd and Governor Schwarzenegger will be there to open the IT trade show in Hannover along with Angela Merkel.
As announced last October, California is the partner country of the CeBIT 2009. California's economy is big enough to be counted as a country.
Despite the presence of the Austrian Terminator the CeBIT 2009 has lost over 25% of its exhibitors compared to CeBIT 2008. This year only 4,300 companies will exhibit in Hannover compared to 5,845 last year.
The CeBIT organizers still see a positive side of the steep exhibitor decline. The companies who still show up will be signaling plans to weather the economic crisis and will get more room to present themselves. CeBIT 2009 also managed to get 200 new exhibitors and also got Dell to come back.
