E3: MS introduces Pink and Blue Xbox 360 Controllers
If Microsoft would not have the hyper successful Halo franchise on their hands, they would not have any highlights to announce at the E3 as it seems. Ok, they did announce a ton of Xbox 360 games for this holiday season, which should make lots of gamers happy.
Besides the Xbox 360 Messenger Kit, which was already announced in April, Microsoft introduced a pink and a dark blue Wireless Xbox 360 controller. Why would we need a pink and a blue controller? Of course these are for babies - blue for boys and pink for girls. You cannot start early enough playing video games.

Rumble SIXAXIS Controller coming with 80GB Sony PS3?
Today Sony announced the 80GB Sony PS3 for the U.S. market and published a photo of the packaging. The Register runs a story that on the package the SIXAXIS controller shows the Playstation sign lit up in red.
This leads us to the assumption (right or wrong, we do not know yet) that the 80GB Sony PS3 is shipping with a rumble SIXAXIS controller.
Anybody who owns a PS2 knows that the rumble feature is indicated by a red led on the controller.
Update:
The image of the SIXAXIS controller offered on Amazon also shows the red PS3 logo. Not sure since when: Sony PS3 Controller on Amazon.com

Robots are entering the battlefield to help make the men and women of our armed forces safer when they are in harms way. The latest robot is called the RedOwl and it is designed to pinpoint the location of enemy snipers from up to a mile away by analyzing the sound of the gunshot.
A really cool part about the robot is that it is controlled by a modified Xbox controller. I can’t help but wonder when gaming will be part of basic training. Supposedly the robot will be ready for use in combat zones this spring. Read more

The price of $49.99 looks fair for the SIXAXIS seeing all this parts inside. Of course lots of people will miss the good old rumble.

Fanatec Heäd$h0t Controller
I have never heard of Fanatec, but they do make some pretty cool looking controllers for consoles and a neat mouse and keyboard combo called the Fanatec Heäd$h0t. Weird spelling I know, but the guys over at ExtremeTech got their hands on the Heäd$h0t for a review and said it worked pretty well.
They call it the most over featured mouse ever, but it looks pretty cool to me. I typically don’t go for the flashing lights, but from the sounds of the review the mouse performs well. Read more
