Crysis, On Your iPhone?
Alright, one of two things has happened. Either Jon Stokes of Ars Technica has fallen down a magical well and emerged into a wonderous dream world where anything is possible, or he actually played Crysis on an iPhone.
For those of you who don't know, Crysis is widely considered to be one of the biggest graphics hogs in the gaming world. If your machine can run Crysis well, you have a top-of-the-line gaming rig. You can understand, then, why it's a little weird to hear about it being played on a computer small enough to fit inside my pocket.

EA and Crytek Announce Development of Crysis 2 at E3
EA and Crytek announced yesterday that they were extending their partnership to allow the development of Crysis 2 for PC, Xbox, and the PS3. Crysis is one of the most popular FPS franchises ever offered on the PC.
The games will be built using the new Crytek CryENGINE 3. Crysis games are known for their lush and realistic graphics. There is no launch date noted for Crysis 2, but the game is sure to be fantastic when it does finally hit the market. Read more

Crysis Warhead PC Game Review
Today we are checking out Crysis Warhead, the second installment in the Crysis Franchise. The game is fantastic, offering up great gameplay, good graphics, and loads of customization.

EA & Crytek Launch Crysis Warhead this Week
Crysis was one of the coolest and most visually demanding FPS titles to ever hit the PC, and is still one of the most fun games to play. EA and Crytek announced today that the next installment of the Crysis franchise will hit store shelves on September 18th as a PC exclusive.
The game has new single player campaigns with open-ended gameplay and features Crysis Wars, the multiplayer suite for the Crysis universe. The game will retail for only $29.99 and is a standalone game not needing the original Crysis to play. Read more

VIA demos Crysis on Nano 1.8GHz CPU in Mini-ITX Board
Tweaktown reports from a VIA demo from Computex 2008. VIA showed Crysis running on the new VIA Nano on a Mini-ITX board.

EA and Crysis Developing Crysis Warhead
Ok PC gamers, everyone join me in a big WOOT! EA and Crytek announced that the next installment in the Crysis series is coming this fall for PC gamers. The game will be called Crysis Warhead. Rather than picking up after the carrier battle the original game left us at, Warhead will follow a parallel storyline to the original game.
If you wondered what happened to Psycho after the game got going and things focused on Nomad the new game will let us find out. Crysis Warhead will follow Psycho as he fights his way through the other side of the island at the same time as Nomad fights his own battles. The game will include new weapons and vehicles plus an undated CryENGINE 2 and new multiplayer content. Read more

Indepth Crysis Demo Performance Analysis
As reported the demo of Crysis is now available for download. Techspot analyst the first person shooter game developed exclusively for the PC by Crytek.
Quote: "The demo offers PC gamers a quick look at what will possibly be the most advanced FPS ever created, you just have to swallow the huge 1.8GB download first. I'm sure many will agree that the demo is well worth the download though, offering the entire first level of the game which represents "roughly 45 minutes" of pure gameplay.

Crysis Demo Hits Nzone Tomorrow
The highly anticipated demo of Crysis will be available tomorrow on NVIDIA’s Nzone website. NVIDIA says that they do not currently have an exact time that the demo will be available for download.
Crysis is going to be one of the hottest PC games of the year for sure and gamers worldwide are waiting anxious to get their hands on it. I had a chance to play it at E3 this year and the game is fantastic. Read more

Crysis on a Toshiba Satellite DX10 NVIDIA Powered Notebook
From what I have seen of Crysis, it will be the single biggest driver that gets gamers to upgrade their video cards for DirectX 10 capability. The game simply looks great in all its DirectX 10 glory. It also seems that a legion of mobile gamers will have good reason to trade in their old notebooks for new DirectX 10 capable ones as well.
At E3 Dignews got to play Crysis on a Toshiba Satellite notebook computer running an NVIDIA gelatinized 8700M GT graphics card. Dignews says about the experience “…it can only be said that Crysis looked no less than stunning…” Read more

Crysis Hands On at E3
Another of the cool games on display at E3 this year was Crysis from Crytek. Crysis is a FPS title with graphics that will leave PC gamers with the hardware to run the DirectX 10 version of the game at full tilt drooling.
Crysis has already garnered lots of attention and is one of the most anticipated game titles due out this year. No specific release date was offered when I asked when we could buy it. However, it would be very surprising if the game didn’t show up for Christmas. Read more
