Dash Express Review

Topic:

Dash Express Review Technology News, Electronics Buy Guide and Gadget Review Engadget published a review of the Dash Express Internet connected GPS device. As reported the Dash Express is shipping to the pre-order customers. Amazon.com is taking orders for the Dash Express at $399.99 with a shipping date of April 29th.

Quote from the review: "As far as the actual interface goes, well, it's a GPS. If you've used a nicer PND before, nothing's really going to shock you. That's going to be the hardest thing for Dash to overcome, just as TiVo had to slowly educate users as to why they'd want to pause and rewind live TV: sure, it can work just like what you're used to, but once you figure out how much it's capable of, going back seems ridiculous. T-Mobile Dash Review

Topic:

T-Mobile Dash Review Technology News, Electronics Buy Guide and Gadget Review Laptop Mag reviews the T-Mobile Dash Windows smartphone.

Quote:
"Sexiness meets versatility in the T-Mobile Dash ($199 with two-year contract), a compact Windows Mobile smart phone that attempts to one-up both the BlackBerry Pearl, by featuring a full QWERTY keyboard, and the Moto Q, by packing in Wi-Fi.
This diminutive device keeps you organized and entertained on the go, but its occasionally sluggish performance and T-Mobile's spotty network coverage prevent us from giving the Dash a top rating. "

Xbox 360 Dashboard Gets Major Overhaul

Topic:

Xbox 360 Dashboard Gets Major Overhaul Technology News, Electronics Buy Guide and Gadget Review Joystiq recently got some new details about the pending Xbox 360 update that will cause some dramatic improvements in its Xbox Dashboard and Xbox Live interfaces. The most requested feature, downloading your own backgrounds, will be one of the biggest changes. It took Sony nearly 6 months to give users this option with the 2.0 firmware update for the PSP, and Microsoft made its consumers wait just about as long.

Aditionally, you'll actually be able to have a download queue of up to 6 downloads (yahoo!). Other more technical changes will also be made, such as the ability to boot straight to the dashboard instead of automatically loading the game in your disc drive, and the addition of USB keyboard functionality.
