The N900 Delayed: Sorry Nokia Fans
Good things are worth waiting for. Just keep that fact in mind if you've been waiting months and months already for the launch of the Nokia N900. While it was initially expected to have an October release, it now looks like we won't get our hands on this sweet little smartphone until November. Reuters (via BGR) reports that Nokia announced a one month delay in the N900's release.
Nokia claims that this delay is due to the fact that they are still waiting for feedback from developers. While annoying to anyone planning to pick up this highly-anticipated smartphone, I think the delay represents a good sign. Nokia knows that the N900 is the future of their company. They may still be the #1 cell phone manufacturer in the world, but their hold on the market slips a little more every quarter. If more time in development will make the N900 a more competitive phone, then that time will be well spent.

New Dyson Air Multiplier Fan Has No Blades
Dyson, known for their vacuum cleaners, unveiled a new line of fans dubbed Dyson Air Multipliers. The Dyson Air Multiplier has no blades or grill. It uses Air Multiplier technology to draw in air and amplify it 15 times, producing an uninterrupted stream of smooth air.
The Dyson Air Multiplier has sci-fi looks and maybe the "uninterrupted stream of smooth air" is something very nice to enjoy. It should be as the price-tag is about $300.

Logitech's New Wii/360/PS3 Drums/Guitar Expensive, Fancy
Do you hate your bank account and love Guitar Hero? If so, Logitech is here to help. They've just released a new set of high-end Guitar Hero instruments for the Nintendo Wii. According to Gizmodo their new guitar has a maple neck, a rosewood fingerboard, and metal frets. The new drums are absolutely gorgeous; they come with three pads and two cymbals, all fully adjustable, with a recessed rim around the pads to help avoid rim shots. The kick petal is made of stainless steel.
Sounds pretty great, doesn't it? And, to make things even better, the exact same instruments are already out for the PS3 and Xbox 360. What's the catch? The Price. Logitech is charging $200 for the guitar, and $230 for the drums. That's more than excessive, but if you absolutely must have the best these instruments are it.

The iLuv iMM9400: The Fanciest iPhone Speakers Ever
When you buy a set of iPhone/iPod speakers, you usually get what you pay for. Most of the sets I've owned throughout the years have broken after a few months of gentle use, proof that no good piece of electronics costs less than fifty dollars. Thankfully, the iLuv iMM9400 costs $250, which either means they are fantastic or highly overpriced. Either way, they look awesome and they have some fairly impressive specs.
First of all, this dock works for the iPhone 3GS, 3G, original, iPod, and generic MP3 players thanks to the dock adapters. It also has a built-in SD card slot and USB port, so you can connect your media devices that way. While I can't vouch either way for the quality of these speakers, they were a CES Innovations 2009 Design and Engineering Award Honoree.

Final Fantasy 7 On The iPhone?
Yeah, you heard that right. Everyone's favorite console game of the late 90's has been emulated for the 3GS. While no one's come out with a perfect way to jailbreak the 3GS yet, some enterprising folks have managed get GBA and PSX emulators running on the new smartphone. 9-to-5 Mac has a video of Final Fantasy 7 in action on the 3GS, and promises that other emulators are also running “close to native”.
From what I can see, the FF7 emulator looks pretty much perfect right now. The on-screen controller takes up an annoying amount of space, but it looks fairly intuitive. The gameplay is very smooth and the graphics look great on the iPhone. I can think of few better ways to pass time than by having the full version of FF7 loaded on a smartphone.

Left4Dead Fans Boycott Sequel
Hell hath no fury like a gamer scorned. Earlier this week at Microsoft's E3 press conference it was announced that Valve was working on a sequel to the bestselling zombie game Left4Dead. Fans of the original were surprised to hear that Left4Dead 2 was expected to launch on November 17th, barely a year after the first game was released.
Surprisingly, this ticked off a lot of people. Many Valve fans felt that this was a way for the company to brush off Left4Dead and ignore the list of updates and improvements they promised fans when the game was released. In order to protest the sequel and guilt Valve into supporting the original title fans formed the group “Left4Dead 2 Boycott”. They have already gathered 4,500 members.

Final Fantasy XIV: Online announced for 2010
Yesterday during the Sony E3 conference the gaming giant announced the development of a new title in the massively successful Final Fantasy series. Final Fantasy XIV will be the next online Final Fantasy game, taking the series in a futuristic, sci-fi direction.
Sony gave us a massive gameplay video during their presentation, which showed off some truly awesome special effects. There were some fantastic aircraft battles and, of course, the obligatory giant tentacled monster. I didn't catch any Chocobos (or Biggs and Wedge for that matter) but I think we can rest assured that all of the classic Final Fantasy elements will be in attendance.

Beyond Good & Evil 2, Grim Fandango, and Monkey Island: E3 Rumors!
We've got a heaping plate of rumors for all of you gamers eagerly waiting to see what E3 has in store for your favorite hobby.
We'll start it of with some bad news: Beyond Good & Evil 2 is not, I repeat, not going to be shown at E3 2009. Ubisoft will be bringing Assassin's Creed 2, the new Avatar game, and the latest Splinter Cell, but that's it. Ubi's given no reason for BG&E 2's absence, but I'm hopeful that it's because they're going all out and don't want to release a demo before everything is close to perfect.

Star Trek Tickets Booming on Fandango
There is no doubt that the new Star Trek movie set to launch this month is going to be one of the biggest films of the summer. Fandango has announced that despite the fact that the movie doesn’t open until Thursday night at midnight, the film has already sold out more than 100 opening weekend shows around the country.
So many Star Trek tickets have sold that the sales for the film alone account for 81% of daily ticket sales on the Fandango website. Fandango has ran a Star Trek survey of more than 4,000 users and found that 83% plan to see the movie on opening weekend. Read more

Wii Fans Denied Marvel vs. Capcom 2
Marvel vs. Capcom 2 will not be appearing on the Wii, neither as downloadable content or in a retail release, according to a post by a Capcom insider at the Capcom Unity blog.
Last night, Capcom confirmed the game would appear on Xbox Live and the PlayStation Network this summer. Responding to complaints from upset Wii fans, Capcom VP of Strategic Planning & Business Development Christian Svenson claimed, “This is a downloadable play, not a retail play. We don't actually have any retail rights on this project. And there's no way to get anywhere near the Wiiware filesize limit here.”

Angelina Jolie: Gadget Fan, Loves the Palm Pre
Sexy starlet Angelina Jolie was recently seen on the set of her newest movie sporting the as-of-yet-unreleased Palm Pre, according to a report from the LA Gossip Examiner.
The story quotes a production assistant from the movie Salt who claims:
"I asked her how she likes the phone. She went on about it for about two minutes. She basically said she likes the software better than the iPhone, she likes the thumboard for texting (although the keys aren't big enough), and thinks the screen is beautiful but can be too easily scratched."Read more

These iPhone Developer Success Stories are just fantastic for Apple
We already heard many stories of iPhone developers hitting the jackpot with little Apps for the iPhone. The NY Times has published another one about the iShoot developer and how he made $800,000 in 5 months.
If the other mobile App stores like the BlackBerry App World and the upcoming Palm Pre App store cannot deliver these kinds of stories they will have a problem.
These developer success stories are gold for Apple. If individual developers can make that much money, companies can make even more.
