XFX Launches 8800 GTS 320MB Fatal1ty Graphics Card

XFX announced a new video card yesterday in the Fatal1ty line called the 8800GTS 320MB Fatal1ty graphics card. The card is the fastest 8800 GTS 320MB video card in the XFX line. The core speed of the card is 650MHz.

The memory clock runs 2.0GHz, and the shader clock runs at 1500MHz. Like all the other 8800 GTS cards, the memory interface is 320-bit and 96 stream processors are available. The Fatal1ty 8800 GTS will support resolutions of up to 2560 x 1600. Read more

E for All Expo signs Fatal1ty

IDG World Expo, organizer of the consumer gaming show E for All announces that they signed Fatal1ty for the show.

E for All is a new video game show for consumers in LA. Because the new E3 Summit is press only, IDG World Expo came up with a show that is just for gamers. The E for All Expo is scheduled for October 18-21th. Read more

NVIDIA 8800 GTX, 8800 GTS, 8800 GTS 320MB, 7600 GT Fatal1ty, 8600 GTS & 8600 GT

We cover lots of NVIDIA graphics cards around here and have been for a long while now. With all the reviews spread about the site I thought with the release of the new NVIDIA 8600 GTS, NVIDIA 8600 GT and the older reviews of the NVIDIA 8800 GTS 320MB, NVIDIA 8800 GTS, and NVIDIA 8800 GTX that it would make things easier to have one page that linked out to all the NVIDIA video card review goodness we have here on I4U.

I will start with the oldest NVIDIA review that I did back when I first started writing with I4U of the NVIDIA 8800 GTX from XFX. This is the card that started the DirectX 10 hardware movement. The card we looked at here was a stock clocked XFX 8800 GTX and it certainly had revolutionary performance.

A bit later I got my hands on the 8800 GTX video card from Foxconn which also ran the stock NVIDIA reference clock speeds for the 8800 GTX series. Not too long after the original XFX 8800 GTX video card review I was able to get my hands on a second stock clocked 8800 GTX from XFX to get some 8800 GTX SLI performance numbers, and they were fantastic. Interview with Fatal1ty about DirecTV Championship Gaming Series

We already mentioned it the other day our host Nikki met her personal hero Fatal1ty at the CES 2007 and interviewed the new "John Madden of Pro Video gaming".

Satellite TV network DirecTV announced at the CES 2007 the Championship Gaming Series, an international video gaming league which will broadcast to over 100 million homes worldwide starting in Spring 2007 and airing nationally on DIRECTV’s The 101.

Fatal1ty will take on a new role as exclusive play-by-play commentator for the Series.

XFX Fatal1ty Passively Cooled 7600 GT

XFX has partnered with Fatal1ty, the professional gamer guy, for a graphics card branded with the Fatal1ty name. The XFX GeForce 7600 GT Fatal1ty has 256 MB of memory and the coolest part is the completely passive cooling on the card.

XFX is known for overclocking graphics cards, and even though this one is passive cooled, XFX still squeezes more performance out of it that the NVIDIA reference cards. The memory clock is 1.6 GHz and the core clock is 650 MHz with a 128 bit memory bus. Read more

Fatal1ty branded Products at E3 2004

Auravision Inc., maker of the EluminX Keyboard, today announces the first products from the Fatal1ty™ line of professional gaming products, including the Fatal1ty/PWX system and a motherboard and graphics card created by ABIT Computer Corporation.

Auravision’s gaming division signed an exclusive licensing agreement with leading gamer and three-time World Champion Gamer from the Cyberathlete Professional League, Johnathan “Fatal1ty” Wendel. Together, they will launch a new line of products for professional gamers under the Fatal1ty brand name starting with the motherboard and graphics card by ABIT and the Fatal1ty/PWX gaming system.

Professional Gamers are getting the Athlete treatment, another sign how big the Computer Gaming Industry has become.
