leapFrog unveiled in time for the Holiday shopping season a new useful gadget dubbed the Crammar. The Crammer Study & Sound System is a homework and study device for students in grades three through eight.
The LeapFrog Crammer gadget allows kids to download questions and flash cards to the device and quiz themselves on the go, all while listening to their favorite music.

iPhone 3G is named Gadget of the Year
LONDON (Reuters) - Apple's iPhone 3G has won a public vote to find the
year's best gadget, beating strong competition from three games consoles, a
budget laptop and a balloon-shaped iPod speaker system.
The latest version of the mobile that combines a phone with a music and video
player was chosen by readers of Stuff magazine in its annual Gadget of the Year
awards.
The magazine described the iPhone 3G as "a faster, cleverer version of an
already remarkable phone." The phone's first incarnation, launched in Britain
last year, won the coolest gadget prize at last year's ceremony.

Zagg Introduces Better invisibleSHIELD Film for Gadget Protection
Zagg has been selling its invisibleSHIELD film for a while now. The film is clear and adds no bulk to the iPhone. It protects from scratches to the screen and body of the device and is nearly invisible when applied.
Zagg announced that it is now shipping a new and improved version of the film that is even clearer than the original film. The film now comes with the Zagg logo on the film backing. Read more

Solar Charging Tree for Gadgets
I have seen my share of solar chargers for all sorts of USB gadgets. Most of them are smallish boxy devices devoid of any cool factor. If you want a solar charger that is different, the PhotonSynthese is the ticket.
The bonsai looking tree is made from a series of section of different lengths and shapes that connect together with connectors that look like headphone connectors. The leaves of the tree are solar panels. Read more

gOS 3 Linux gets Gadgets like Apple Mac OS X
gOS, the Linux OS known for its debut in the $199 Wal-Mart gPC and NetBooks, today announced the details of the newest version of its Linux operating system for consumers, called gOS 3 Gadgets.
gOS 3 Gadgets instantly launches Google Gadgets for Linux on startup, giving users access to more than 100,000 iGoogle and Google Gadgets that are small, graphically rich applications that can be added to the desktop in seconds over the Internet. gOS 3 Gadgets will also preload WINE, LXDE, and other Google software for Linux to improve the user experience.
