The Geneva Motor Show 2009 has again a big showing of beautiful women that help guide our eyes towards the new cars manufacturer exhibit at the 79th International Motor Show in Geneva, Switzerland.

WorldofCarFans has a nice selection of the Geneva 2009 Car babes. One photo makes you scratch your head though as it shows a weird white monster with baby monster next to a model. Skoda thinks this is what the mysterious ape-like snowman Yeti from the Himalayan region looks like. Read more

Skoda Unveils Yeti SUV at Geneva Motor Show

The Geneva Motor Show is underway and Skoda has unveiled a new SUV at the show called the Yeti. The vehicle is a 4.2 meter long SUV with five doors and rides on 17-inch wheels. The company says that the high seating position and styling make it look light rather than bulky like some other SUVs on the market.

Power for the Yeti comes from a choice of two gasoline and three diesel engines. The base engine is a 1.2-liter 4-cylinder engine that powers the front wheels. Optional engines include a 160HP 1.8 gas burning motor driving all 4 wheels. Read more

Production Chevrolet Spark at the Geneva Motor Show 2009

GM will exhibit the Production Chevrolet Spark at the Geneva Motor Show this week. When I read Spark I think electric, but the Chevy Spark is just a small car with a frugal petrol engine.
The Chevy Spark is a small car with a 1.0/1.2-liter engines deliver sub-120g CO2 emissions.
Due on sale early 2010, the Chevy Spark is a production-ready version of the Beat concept car, the most popular of a trio of Chevy mini concepts that toured international motor shows in 2007. Read more

Rinspeed zaZen at the Geneva Motor Show 2006

I am always surprised that Rinspeed is actually able to make their amazing designs into a real car you can see and drive. This time they show the Rinspeed zaZen with revolutionary lighting technique and transparent hardtop at the Geneva Motor Show taking place this week.

Besides its stunning looks the zaZen sports a hardtop made from transparent Makrolon polycarbonate from Bayer MaterialScience.
Other highlights of the zaZen are holographic brake lamps, healing polyurethane clear coat covering Swarovski crystals finished paint, Swarovski cyrstal trimming around the lamps and Technogel seats.
The Rinspeed zaZen is powered by a 355 hp 6-cylinder boxer engine from the Porsche 997 Carrera S. Read more

Mini is presenting at the Geneva Motor Show 2006 the Mini Concept Geneva to commemorate the 100th birthday of Sir Alec Issigonis, the inventor of the original Mini.

The Mini Concept Geneva is representing a multi-functional Rally service car. The design hints at a 'station wagon' Mini coming maybe in 2008/2009. Lots of innovative features are packed into the Mini Concept Geneva. The Mini reached early cult status by winning Rally races in the 60s. Read more

Rinspeed Senso at Geneva Motor Show 2005

The Swiss Porsche Tuning Car Company Rinspeed is set to impress again at this years Geneva Motor Show starting March 3rd with the Rinspeed Senso concept car.

The Rinspeed designed the Senso concept car with Rinspeed and Bayer MaterialScience.

From the Rinspeed Senso Description:
"The "Senso" "senses" the driver and adjusts to him/her. This is especially important as the risk of an accident is significantly reduced if the person behind the wheel is relaxed and wide awake.

This project also involves a sophisticated system of sensors developed by the Universities of Zurich and Innsbruck. Smart Surface Technology, a new 3D-formable electroluminescent film from Bayer MaterialScience and the Swiss electronics specialist Lumitec, uses biometric data and other information to create an appropriate level of light for the driver, thereby having a positive effect on him/her."
