The first Google Android smartphone, the T-Mobile G1 completes our Top 10 Mobile Phone Gift Guide 2008. iPhone 3G is I4U Top 100 Holiday Gift Guide Tip #20
If someone on your shopping list this holiday season wants a new smartphone, the iPhone 3G is a fantastic choice. The iPhone 3G has all of the same features are the fantastic original iPhone with a few additions that up the ante for the device. Apple added GPS and 3G connectivity to the new iPhone 3G that the original didn't have.
The iPhone is only available on AT&T, which could be an issue for some users. The iPhone is hands down the best device for surfing the Internet I have used and works very well. The on screen keyboard draws much criticism, but after using it for a few weeks it becomes much less of an issue. In the end, the iPhone 3G is simply one of the best smartphones on the current market and will make a great holiday gift. Read more

Nikon D80 is I4U Top 100 Holiday Gift Guide Tip #19
The Nikon D80 is one of the most popular DSLR cameras that Nikon offers thanks to its great performance and features. The D80 may be overshadowed by the newer Nikon D90 for cutting edge specifications and features, but the D80 is a fantastic DSLR. The camera uses a 10-megapixel image sensor.
I have used a D80 for the last year exclusively and in daily use, it is a great camera. The D80 has fantastic battery life; I have shot thousands of full resolution images on one battery charge on many occasions. The camera lacks in body image stabilization and has no Live View LCD, but is a fantastic product overall. With the D90 now on the market, the D80 will likely come down in price as well. Read more

JBL WEM-1 Wireless Speaker Kit is I4U Top 100 Holiday Gift Guide Tip #18
The biggest problem for many people who really want a surround sound home theater in the living room is that the wires needed to run the speakers can be unsightly and difficult to run. You could get in the attic and run wires through walls, but for renters that option is not viable. The wires needed to run the speakers end up being the death of the surround sound dreams for many people.
Thankfully, today wires are not always needed for the rear channel speakers of a home theater system. JBL has a great gift idea for the person wanting surround sound in their home without needing wires called the JBL WEM-1 Wireless Expansion Module. The system has multiple inputs and offers a 70-foot transmission range allowing for use even in large rooms. The system is available from JBL for $358. Read more
