Apple iPhone Sync Issue Fixed On Gigabyte Intel P55 Motherboards With New BIOS
If you have encountered issues syncing your iPhone with iTunes on your new Windows 7 PC than you might be in luck. If you run an Intel P55 motherboard from Gigabyte you can now upgrade your motherboard Bios with a beta version that is supposed to fix the Apple iPhone Sync issue.
As Gigabyte was able to fix the issue with a Bios update it would imply that the problem is not a Windows 7 problem. Microsoft and Apple are supposed to also still investigate the issue.

Gigabyte T1028X netbook debuts
Gigabyte has unveiled a new netbook that uses a convertible tablet form factor called the T1028X reports SlashGear. The netbook uses the Intel Atom N280 CPU at 1.66GHz and has a display with 1366 x 768 resolution. The screen of the device is 10.1-inches.
Other features include a 6-cell 54wh battery and an optional HSPA mobile broadband modem for on the go connectivity. The netbook has an ExpressCard 34mm slot, something missing on many netbooks available today. Read more

Gigabyte M1022M/G Netbook Review
Today we are looking at the Gigabyte M1022 netbook. The netbook has a multitouch track pad and other features that users will enjoy.
The machine uses an Intel Atom N270 processor, 160Gb HDD, 1GB of RAM, and runs Windows XP Home. Gigabyte also sells the machine with a dock that makes hooking external accessories up to the machine a snap. Read more

Gigabyte exhibits M1028, M1024, and M1022 10 inch Netbooks at CeBIT 2009
Gigabyte will show its new generation of 10 inch netbooks at the CeBIT 2009 including the Gigabyte M1028, M1024, and M1022 according to Digitimes.
The Gigabyte M1028 features a rotatable touchscreen and has already been spotted at the MWC 2009 by French site IT Mobility.
Gigabyte was the first company to offer a touchscreen netbook already in 2008. Gigabyte faces now competition from other netbook vendors including Asus.

Gigabyte Unveils M528 MID with Atom Z500 CPU
Gigabyte has a new mobile internet device called the M528 that looks pretty slick. The machine runs on Linux and uses an Intel Atom Z500 CPU running at 800MHz along with the Intel SCH UL11L chipset. As with most MIDs, screen size is small at 4.8-inches.
That's not much larger than my iPhone screen. Resolution for the panel is 800x480 and storage is to a 4GB SSD. Other features include a QWERTY keyboard with EL backlight, integrated 802.11b/g Wi-Fi and a HSDPA mini card module. Read more

Gigabyte M912V Touch Screen Netbook Review
Gigabyte offers an Atom based Notebook with a 8.9 inch touch screen dubbed Gigabyte M912V. Hardware Canucks got their hands on this new interesting netbook and published a review.

Gigabyte previewed the Intel Canmore DVP Platform at IDF 2008. PCStats has a report about the digital media player platform.

Unreleased Gigabyte Radeon HD 4850 spotted at Computex
The guys at Hexus got their hands on a Gigabyte card that is based on the unreleased ATI Radeon HD 4850.
The single-slot card with the future mid-range GPU from ATI has 512MB GDDR3 memory and has two DV-I outputs.

Gigabyte to publicly apologize to Asus
As reported on Monday, Asus took Gigabyte to the Taiwanese FTC and Court over Motherboard Dispute. Digitimes reports now that Gigabyte agreed to issue a public apology to avoid a legal battle.
It is good to see the two companies are settling this before the COMPUTEX 2008, which starts next week.

Asus takes Gigabyte to Tawainese FTC and Court over Motherboard Dispute
Asus published an announcement last week about Gigabyte having made false accusations against ASUS motherboards' EPU features and the quality of ASUS motherboards' components.
Asus has taken the matter to the Taiwanese Fair Trade Commission (FTC) and started legal proceedings against Gigabyte over defamatory acts.

Gigabyte P45 Hands-on Sneak Peak in Taipei
Gigabyte invited tech journalists around the world to their headquarters to experience the new motherboards based on the Intel P45 chipset.
Hothardware was there and published a report from the 2 day event.
