The game only features tracks from Aerosmith’s massive library of hits. Some of the tracks were re-mastered by Aerosmith just for the game.

One of the guest appearances in the game is from Darryl “DMC” McDaniels from rap group Run DMC. Aerosmith and Run DMC teamed up for a remake of “Walk this Way” in the 1980’s, helping to rebuild Aerosmith’s popularity when rap was just starting to take off. Read more

Copies of the Rock Band game have been flying off store shelves and the game is one of the hottest titles for the holiday season. Some early buyers of the Rock Band bundle with the guitar, mic and drum controllers are reporting problems with the strum bar on the guitar.

EA has acknowledged that some of the first guitars shipped with the game had an issue with the strum bar. While subsequent guitar production lines were repaired, some defective units are still in play. Read more

The Gibson Robot Guitar automatically tunes itself to standard A440 tuning. The guitar also provides access to six commonly used altered tuning presets at the touch of a button.

The robot guitar has five components including a control knob that serves as the volume knob and enables tuning with a push or pull. Each tuner uses a servo motor and adjusts the pitch of the strings with a tune-control bridge. Read more

Nearly every song in the upcoming game is available on iTunes including “Surrender”, “Welcome to the Jungle” and “Carry on Wayward Son”. "Guitar Hero fans have been clamoring for increased accessibility to their favorite songs from the set lists," said Dusty Welch, head of publishing for Activision/RedOctane(R).
