HP Mini 110 Windows 7 Netbook Leads Bestseller Charts
Windows 7 netbooks have been on sale since Thursday when Microsoft officially launched Windows 7. Amazon has one of the broadest selections of netbooks on sale. My initial tip that the Asus Eee PC 1005HA with Windows 7 Starter would be the bestselling Windows 7 netbook was wrong. The new HP Mini 110 is currently #1 followed by three Asus Eee PC 1005HA netbooks (two XP and one running Win7).
Features of the HP Mini 110 include 1.6Ghz N270 Atom CPU, 1GB RAM, 10.1" LED Anti-glare display, 160GB HDD, 802.11g Wifi, 92% of full-size keyboard, 6-cell battery and Windows 7 Starter.

Verizon HP Mini 1151NR Netbook Review
Verizon Wireless announced the $199.99 HP Mini 1151NR 3G netbook offering a week ago. Our review partner Digital Trends took the HP 1151NR netbook to the test and published a review.
As expected the review is not that positive as the HP Mini 1151NR is simply not a top of the line netbook
Quote from the review: "Mobile computing is tough for international travelers. You may have a mobile wireless card from a U.S. phone carrier, but if it's a CDMA card you won't be able to use it in Europe, and if it's a GSM card, you won't be able to use it in much of Asia.

HP makes more waves these days with the HP Mini 1151NR netbook as this one will be offered by Verizon as their first subsidized 3G netbook. The Verizon $199.99 deal would be lot more exciting if they would have picked the HP Mini 2140.

First Verizon Netbook HP Mini 1151NR rumored for May 17th
Subsidized netbooks are about to arrive in the United States. We already reported about AT&T offering 3G netbooks in selected markets. BoyGeniusReport has a rumor up that Verizon will offer the HP Mini 1151NR starting May 17th.
Apparently Verizon is charging $199 with a 2-year contract for the data service for the HP Mini 1151NR. It is funny how U.S. carriers still get away with charging $99 or $199, where in Europe you get these 1 Euro deals on the iPhone and on netbooks of course as well.

Quote from the review: "One of the best netbooks that we tested so far, HP 2133 Mini-Note , has got its successor in form of, eagerly awaited, HP Mini 2140. Beside display size (8.9 inch at older and 10.1inch on the new model) differences between HP 2133 and HP 2140 are minimal when it comes to external aesthetics.

HP Mini 1100 Specs Unveiled on HP Site
We have been hearing a bit about the new models HP will add this year to its Mini line of netbook computers. This week new specification pages for the 1133CL, 1135NR, 1140NR, and 1141NR have shown up on the HP website.
One of the rumored specs that have turned out to be accurate was the addition of an Expresscard/54 slot. Update: Apparently there is no Expresscard slot according to Liliputing citing HP. Engadget says that the 1141NR is the fancy and girly Vivienne Tam edition. There is little to set the four models apart though. Read more

HP Mini 1000 Video Review
HP announced today the new HP Mini 1000 netbook line. We already featured a Mini 1000 review earlier today. Here is another one featuring a good video demonstrating the new HP Mini 1000 netbook.
Quote from the review: "The HP Mini 1000 will initially be available with Windows XP, but a Linux version is coming soon. HP’s done an excellent job in making Linux user friendly and customized to fit the Mini 1000’s purpose: web browsing and email. HP calls the Ubuntu interface the “Mobile Internet Experience.” It looks slick, is very intuitive and reminiscent of HP’s TouchSmart interface.

HP Mini 1000 Review
HP unveiled today the new HP mini 1000 netbook series. Engadget already got their hands on a mini 1000 and published a hands-on review.
Quote from the review: "We're especially inspired by the edge-to-edge keyboard, which is easily the nicest we've used on a netbook, or really any laptop smaller than 12.1-inches (and bests many larger than that). HP did move a few things around a bit to make it all fit, but all the right keys are right where you need them, and our large hands were pounding out mistake-free sentences brimming with wit on our first try.
