The Sony Ericsson Z750 clamshell phone comes in phantom grey or rose pink and has the already typical mirror-like surface we already know from Sony Ericsson.

Features of the Z750 include a 2.2 inch color screen, 2MP camera with 4x zoom, external OLED display, FM radio, memory stick micro slot and 3D gaming.

The measurements of the Z750 are 97.4 mm x 49 mm x 20 mm and the talking on UMTS is 3.5 hours (GSM, up to 9 hours).

The new XNote A1 and C1 10.6 inch notebooks weigh apparently just 1kg. The new hyper connected XNote notebooks run on an Intel Core CPU and a NVIDIA GeForce 7300 GO GPU and feature a 80GB HDD. The LG XNote C1 can flip its screen over to become a tablet style computer. I cannot confirm a 100% if the C1 has a touch screen. The translation from the Korean press-release is too bad in that context.

I guess to better enjoy watching TV on the new XNotes LG added SRS WOW HD audio enhancement. Read more

The Japanese NTT DoCoMo N902iX HSDPA phone is one huge handset. It is good to see that HSDPA does not necessarily mean bigger phones. The Samsung SCH-W200 is as compact as other Samsung Sliders, but enables 1.8Mbps download speeds.

The Samsung SCH-W200 features a Dual Band Dual Mode (DBDM) chip that supports 2G, 3G and 3.5G mobile communication services.
Besides HSDPA the SCH-W200 features S-DMB Tuner, 2MP camera, 2.12" screen, text-to-speech conversion, microSD slot and MP3 player. Read more

HSDPA is currently heavily advertised in Europe for 3G notebook cards. Insiders though say that the coverage is actually still spotty in most countries, contrary to provider statements. There are no handsets yet available for HSDPA in Europe.

With 106x51×25mm the N902iX is pretty big. It features a 2.5 inch screen with QVGA resolution, mp3 player and more. Read more

DoCoMo will launch its HSDPA phones in July in Japan. T-Mobile und Vodafone will sell the BenQ-Siemens HSDPA phone.

HSDPA is a high-speed packet transmission technology standardized by the Third Generation Partnership Project. It offers a theoretical maximum downlink speed of about 14Mbps - smokin'.
The prototype handsets currently available have maximum speeds of 3.6Mbps, 10 times faster than current 3G FOMA handsets. The HSDPA enabled mobile phones come from NEC, Motorola and Fujitsu (see photo). Read more
