Rogers HTC Dream/G1 Owners: 911 Warning
If you own an HTC Dream through Rogers Wireless, you need to turn off your GPS receiver right now. AndroidGuys reports that Rogers has just sent out a request asking all Dream owners to do just that. Apparently there is a bug within the phone that makes it unable to complete 911 emergency calls unless the GPS receiver is turned off.
It is hard to think of a glitch more serious than this. Data loss and network connectivity issues and the like are annoying, but no worse than a pain-in-the-ass. Not being able to call 911 is a serious, potentially life-threatening issue. Rogers is working to fix it now, and have suspended all sales of the HTC Dream until they do.

HTC Dream Android Phone appears FCC approved
The HTC Dream Android Phone gets Wi-Fi approved by the FCC and with that we get a look at some schematics of the Google Phone.
The HTC DREAM (DREA100) is rumored to be offered by T-Mobile USA still this fall, amidst earlier rumors of Android delays.
