Microsoft announces that you guys have pre-ordered Halo3 over 1 million times.

Microsoft unveiled the first details of upcoming Halo 3marketing Blitz with major consumer brands Mountain Dew, 7-Eleven, Pontiac, Comcast and Burger King Corp.

Halo 3 is available in three versions: Standard Edition, Limited Edition and the ultra-collectible Legendary Edition. The Legendary Edition is expected to be sold out by the official Halo 3 release date 25th of September. Read more

The Halo 3 Zune player is now available for pre-order exclusive on Gamestop.

Microsoft will ship the Halo 3 Zune on June 15th. This might get you over the summer and shorten the wait until Halo 3 ships on September 25th. You also could just buy Crackdown to get access to the Halo 3 beta that launches today on Xbox Live.

Microsoft announces release date for the highly anticipated Halo 3 multiplayer first person shooter for the Xbox 360 and it is earlier than expected.

Release date for Halo 3 was anticipated to be in November. Microsoft drops the bomb now with a release date of Halo 3 already on September 25th. Europe will get Halo 3 one day later on September 26th. Read more

Microsoft Expects Record Sales of Halo 3

This is Halo 3 Saturday on I4U News. This is our third story (Halo 3 Beta game footage, Zune Halo 3 Edition) about Halo 3 today. This is no surprise as Bungie is getting ready for the Beta trial of Halo 3 in about 3 days and has thrown a couple preview events.

Reuters reports today that Shane Kim, head of Microsoft Game Studios says that MS expects record sales of Halo 3. The company hopes to beat the already impressive sales success of Halo 2. Read more

Microsoft is now totally on top of releasing special editions of their products. After the Simpsons Xbox 360, we are now exposed to a Halo 3 themed Zune player.

Halo3 Zune available for pre-order on Gamestop, ships 06/15/07.

The Halo 3 Zune has a grey case with special Halo prints on it. The User interface also features Halo 3 wallpapers to complete the look.

Halo 3 Beta Hands-On with Game Footage Video

The beta test of the highly anticipated Xbox 360 game Halo 3 will start later this month. Bungie studios showed the beta to some gaming media outlets yesterday.

Gamespot has published a hands-on report and video of game footage of the Halo 3 Beta.

Xbox 360 Halo 3 Legendary Edition already Amazon Bestseller

The Halo 3 release for the Xbox 360 is still over half a year away, but the expensive Halo 3 Legendary Edition already is the topselling item in the video games category on Amazon.com.

Update 07/10/07:
Xbox 360 Halo Edition announced

We reported already about the Halo 3 Legendary Edition back in January when it appeared for pre-order on Wal-mart. Back then the price was $99.82, now it is a whopping $129.99. Microsoft announced this pricing a couple days ago along with the other Halo 3 package details.

The Legendary Edition is currently sold out on Amazon.com. There is also a pre-order limit of 1 unit per order. Gamestop is taking pre-orders though.

Are you a Big Enough Halo Fan?

You are if you want to own this Halo plasma sword replica.

The sword is 4 feet long and lights up with blue LEDs. It is made from clear plastic that is supposedly stronger than plexi-glass.

The starting bid is $230 and there are actually no bids yet. I wonder why? The top selling replica sci-fi weapon stays the Star Wars light sabers, no question about it. Read more

Verizon Wireless customers that subscribe to the Get It now service can now access the Halo: Mobile Portal. From within the portal users can access XBOX Live gamertag statistics, send messages, get gameplay tips and receive weekly updates on limited edition content.

Users can also access special wallpapers with Halo images from the upcoming Halo 3 games in addition to special ring tones. SMS challenges will be supported to allow users to message buddies to set up games and chat. Read more

HP in partnership with DreamWorks Animation SKG introduced a video collaboration studio for simulating face-to-face business meetings across long distances dubbed HP Halo. (Halo?)

Quote from the press-release: "The HP Halo Collaboration Studio enables people in different locations to communicate in a vivid, face-to-face environment in real time." Otherwise known as Video conferencing. Apparently HP and DreamWorks improved standard video conferencing quite a bit with the HP Halo system. One room equipped with 3 Plasma screens (plus 1 data screen) sells for a cool $550,000 (!?). Plus HP charges a $18,000 monthly service fee per room. Read more
