The Halo 3 Zune player is now available for pre-order exclusive on Gamestop.

Microsoft will ship the Halo 3 Zune on June 15th. This might get you over the summer and shorten the wait until Halo 3 ships on September 25th. You also could just buy Crackdown to get access to the Halo 3 beta that launches today on Xbox Live.

The custom designed Halo 3 Zune mp3 player comes preloaded with a collection of music, videos and artwork. Read more

Halo 3 for Xbox 360 Release Date Announced

Microsoft announces release date for the highly anticipated Halo 3 multiplayer first person shooter for the Xbox 360 and it is earlier than expected.

Release date for Halo 3 was anticipated to be in November. Microsoft drops the bomb now with a release date of Halo 3 already on September 25th. Europe will get Halo 3 one day later on September 26th. Read more

Microsoft Expects Record Sales of Halo 3

This is Halo 3 Saturday on I4U News. This is our third story (Halo 3 Beta game footage, Zune Halo 3 Edition) about Halo 3 today. This is no surprise as Bungie is getting ready for the Beta trial of Halo 3 in about 3 days and has thrown a couple preview events.

Reuters reports today that Shane Kim, head of Microsoft Game Studios says that MS expects record sales of Halo 3. The company hopes to beat the already impressive sales success of Halo 2. Read more

Zune Halo 3 Edition

Microsoft is now totally on top of releasing special editions of their products. After the Simpsons Xbox 360, we are now exposed to a Halo 3 themed Zune player.

Halo3 Zune available for pre-order on Gamestop, ships 06/15/07.

The Halo 3 Zune has a grey case with special Halo prints on it. The User interface also features Halo 3 wallpapers to complete the look.

Halo 3 Beta Hands-On with Game Footage Video

The beta test of the highly anticipated Xbox 360 game Halo 3 will start later this month. Bungie studios showed the beta to some gaming media outlets yesterday.

Gamespot has published a hands-on report and video of game footage of the Halo 3 Beta.

Halo 3 Beta Closed - Crackdown your Last Chance to Participate

The registration for the beta test for the most anticipated Xbox 360 game in 2007 is closed. If you one of the lucky participants you will be able to test the multi-player aspects for Halo 3 starting May 16th.

There might be still a chance to get into the beta when you buy the Xbox 360 game Crackdown. There are Crackdown boxes especially marked with a Halo 3 sticker.

Xbox 360 Halo 3 Legendary Edition already Amazon Bestseller

The Halo 3 release for the Xbox 360 is still over half a year away, but the expensive Halo 3 Legendary Edition already is the topselling item in the video games category on Amazon.com.

Update 07/10/07:
Xbox 360 Halo Edition announced

We reported already about the Halo 3 Legendary Edition back in January when it appeared for pre-order on Wal-mart. Back then the price was $99.82, now it is a whopping $129.99. Microsoft announced this pricing a couple days ago along with the other Halo 3 package details.

The Legendary Edition is currently sold out on Amazon.com. There is also a pre-order limit of 1 unit per order. Gamestop is taking pre-orders though.
