Sound ID Announces HD300 Bluetooth Headset
Sound ID announced its latest Bluetooth headset today called the HD300. Sound ID put three unique features on the headset to improve call quality. The device is also very small and narrow with a glossy piano black finish for good looks.

Logitech Announces ClearChat PC Wireless Headset
Logitech introduced a new wireless headset today for the PC user called the ClearChat PC Wireless headset. The headset uses 2.4GHz technology and only requires one USB port for connectivity. The cordless design allows you to make VOIP calls without having to be tied to your computer.
"More and more people are making voice calls over the Internet, but until now, they have had to choose between wired headsets that keep them tethered to their PCs or wireless headsets that offer poor audio and voice quality," said Gina Clark, general manager and vice president of Logitech's Internet Communications business unit. "With the Logitech ClearChat PC Wireless headset, people can make a PC call while grabbing a snack, sitting on the couch or leaning back in their chair - PC calling has never been so convenient and never sounded so good." Emotiv EPOC Neuroheadset
Emotiv Systems has revealed the Emotiv EPOC, a neuroheadset that allows players to control video games with their thoughts, expressions and emotions at the GDC 2008.
The Emotiv EPOC is the first high-fidelity brain computer interface (BCI) device for the video gaming market and will be available to consumers via Emotiv's Web site and through selected retailers in late 2008 for a recommended retail price of $299.

Plantronics Explorer 370 Rugged Bluetooth Headset
Plantronics announced a new Bluetooth headset called the Explorer 370 that uses a rugged design for durability. The 370 is durability tested to meet military-grade specifications and is water, dust, and shock resistant.

Bang & Olufsen EarSet 2 Bluetooth Headset
Bang & Olufsen also introduced a new wireless Bluetooth headset called the EarSet 2. The name might not be that exciting, but the headset promises superb comfort and an ergonomic design. The headset can be used with any mobile device with Bluetooth support.

Razer Launches Lycosa Keyboard and Piranha Headset
Razer announced a pair of new products today, the Lycosa Gaming Keyboard and the Piranha gaming headset. Razer says the Lycosa keyboard was designed for fast efficient gameplay and superior actions per minute thanks to a 1000Hz ultrapolling rate, just like the Lachesis gaming mouse.
The keys on the keyboard are non-slip rubber topped keys and are backlit, a first for a Razer keyboard. There is also an option to turn the backlight off for all keys but the WASD keys. A gaming option also turns off the windows key. Read more

Today Logitech announced a new PS3 accessory called the Cordless Vantage Headset for PS3. The headset uses Bluetooth technology for a wireless connection and has an ambidextrous design that can be worn on either ear.
The headset uses a behind the head design for comfort and features a noise-cancelling mic to black out room sounds. Power for up to 12 days of use is via a rechargeable battery built into the headset. If you have a large room where you play, the Vantage is good for up to 30 feet away from the PS3. Read more

Plantronics announced today a new Bluetooth headset for the voyager line called the 855. The 855 is a stereo Bluetooth design that keeps the more concealed look of a typical mono Bluetooth headset.

Sony PFR-V1 Headset simulates ''Speaker in your Head''
Sony introduces a new headset dubbed PFR-V1 that simulates sound coming from in front of you. For some reason Sony calls this "Speaker in your Head" - at least that is what the Japanese to English translation makes of it.
The Sony PFR-V1 does make you look a bit like dork when your wearing them. Two sphere shaped speakers float next to your ears. The spheres project sound at an angle on your ear giving you the impression of hearing sound from the front.
